Painted Tin Spice Box w/ Original 7 Spice Canisters   $95

Pantry Box in Original Gray/Blue Paint

This pantry box measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and stands 3 1/2 inches high. Overall, it is in very good structural shape and the original  paint has acquired a nicely aged patina. The top does, however, have some paint loss where it appears that something spilled and a couple of the wood pegs attaching the top are missing, but it is still firmly attached.   $275

Extra Large Dough Bowl

I took numerous photos of this great bowl but none really showed how big it really is, so I placed it on an average sized slatback chair and it barely fit.  I think you will agree it is one big bowl! The bowl is in a dry natural surface and measures an out of round 23 to 24 inches in diameter and stands over 7 inches tall. I was told it was originally found right here in Newburyport although I found it in New Hampshire and just had to bring it home. Overall, it is in very good condition but it does have an old loss to the rim and shows age appropriate wear.   $495

Early Splint Creel

This splint creel has a double wrapped rim and comes with a shoulder strap. It is in very nice condition.   $235

Pair of Coin Silver Tablespoons Marked I. Hall

A pair of monogrammed coin silver spoons made by Joseph Hall who worked in Albany and New York City between 1780 and 1795. Both are monogrammed "LW" and both measure just over 8 1/2 inches long. $105

Large Iron and Wood Chopper Stamped "PERKS"

This is a great primitive chopper measuring approximately 7 1/2 inches from the top of the handle to the bottom of the blade.  The handle measures 7 1/2 inches long. The blade is stamped with the name PERKS.   $85

Vintage Pig Cutting Board

This pine pig cutting board shows lots of use on both sides and has a really nice feel. Measures 14 inches from snout to tail.   $39

Peach Basket with Initials WJ

This lovely beach basket has a great natural surface and the initials WJ are painted on both sides. It is in very good condition with no real damage to speak of, just some expected age related splitting to the wood. Measures just over 11 inches tall and about 14 inches in diameter at the top. $150

Diminutive Chopping/Dough Bowl

Small New England chopping bowl in natural surface with no damage or repairs, just lots of good honest use. However, it does have moderate staining on one side. It measures 16 1/2" X 10" X 3 3/4".  SOLD

Cotton Hersey Small Staved Bucket

This is a rare survivor. This small Hingham, MA staved bucket was made by Cotton Hersey. His full name is impressed on the bottom of the bucket.  The surface leaves quite a bit to be desired and the bottom wood band is missing a small sliver, but that being said, there are only a few known examples with Cotton Hersey's name impressed on the bottom.

Measures 4 inches tall (8 inches when measuring to the top of the handle) and 5 3/4 inches in diameter.

SOLD

Sewertile Spaniel

Late 19th- early 20th C sewertile spaniel most likely from Ohio. In very nice condition. Stands 7 inches tall.   SOLD

Tiny Slide Lid Box with Brass Stencils

Slide lid box measures about 3" by 3" and is carved out of one piece of wood. Comes with complete set of ABC stencils and an "&" stencil.   $100

Early Covered Treen Container

Lovely small treenware covered container made of apple or pear wood in very fine condition. Found in Massachusetts. The top has a tiny handle with the letter "I" carved into it and is decorated with 2 pairs of carved concentric circles.  There is quite a bit of old writing in black on the underside of the lid, including: Boston, Mass written in several places, Old South..., and what may be initials of former owners. Measures approximately 2 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and approximately 3 1/2" in diameter across the top.

19th C Painted Tin Tray with Initials On Both Sides

Black painted tin tray with pinstripes and the initials HP on one side and EB on the other. An engagement gift perhaps? I wish I knew the history on this one!  $295

19th C Slide Lid Bank

This very small slide lid box measures just 3 1/2" L  X  3 1/2" W X 3 1/4" H. It has the Number "6" affixed to it, has a slot in the top for money,  a hole in the lid where a screw was used to keep the lid closed (comes with what appears to be the original 19th C screw) and writing on the bottom that looks to be a name but unfortunately, I can't make it out. I purchased this from another dealer who described this as being a Sunday school bank. So, maybe the #6 referred to a room or class number. A neat little box!  $125

Lovely 19th C Tiger Maple Scoop   $175
