Sweet Little Kitty and Terrier Duo

These two little buddies have always been together. The kitty is Steiff but it is missing its button. The kitty has early felt ears and green eyes. The terrier has a bell and amber eyes. They show signs of lots of loving- particularly the terrier.   Terrier is $25.    Kitty is SOLD

Whisk Broom with a Dog Head Handle   $125

Early Maine Eider Hen

This eider hen from Maine is by an unknown carver but it has a wonderful simple form similar to decoys made by the Wallace family.  It is in worn dark green paint over black paint (maybe started out life as a scoter?) and it has an inletted head and a horseshoe weight.  It measures 15 inches in length.   SOLD

Antique Bevel with Inset Hearts

Do you have an antique tool collector in your life or someone who loves hearts? It's almost Valentine's Day!  $150

Cloth Doll Made by Polly Malone in 1938

This very folky doll was made by Polly Malone of Eureka, California in 1938. Polly made cloth dolls to support her mother. I was told that this special doll was actually the first one that Polly ever made. I was able to purchase this directly from the collector who was a child when she received it from Polly's mother.   $225

Vintage Wooden Horse Drawn Wagon   $95

Vintage Pink Bunny  $59

Both of these can be seen in my booth at From Out Of The Woods.

Fairview Fruit Farm Sign

A great early 20th C. double sided sheet iron sign for the Fairview Fruit Farm that was found in Maine. The two rods originally used for mounting this sign are still attached.   Measures 54" X 15".  $475

19th C. Fleur de Lis Butter Print

Deeply carved 19th C. English butter print with an integral handle. Three small fleur de lis are carved on the face of the print (also resembles three Prince of Wales carvings). A nearly identical example is pictured in Paul E. Kindig's "Butter Prints and Molds" on page 235. Measures 3 3/4" in diameter and 4 1/2" from end to end.  $275

Folk Art Carved Animal

This carved animal is intriguing with a head, body, and claws that look quite bearlike but it has a long thick tail that reminds me of a cat's. I wish I knew whether or not  the carver intended to combine several animal's traits.   $59

Three Early Cloth Animals

A white dog with a flowing mane of hair around its face, a beige velvet dog and a wonderful bunny with floppy ears. Each shows evidence of years of loving-- stains, small holes, repairs.... But, they are wonderful just as they are.

White dog $175

Beige velvet dog (SOLD)

Bunny $125
